This web3 gate grants access to reserved areas of the Elata Discord for Public Presale participants, Community Sale participants, and Live Token Holders.

You'll need:

• A Discord account
• A crypto wallet (MetaMask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)

Step 1: Type /web3-connect or press the connect button provided by the bot

Step 2:

• Desktop: Link opens in browser
• Mobile: Copy link, paste in your web3 wallet's browser (deeplinks in mobile browsers often break with web3)

Step 3: Connect wallet and Sign In With Ethereum

Step 4: Connect Discord

Step 5: Return to Discord - roles will be granted shortly

For the best mobile experience, use the Discord-first flow:

• Step 1: In Discord, find the verification channel and tap the "Connect Wallet" button
• Step 2: You'll receive a private message with your unique link
• Step 3: Copy the link (tap and hold to copy)
• Step 4: Open your wallet app (MetaMask, Phantom, etc.)
• Step 5: Paste the link in your wallet's built-in browser
• Step 6: Connect and sign when prompted

This method works best because wallet browsers can directly interact with your wallet!

MetaMask: Tap the menu (☰) → Browser

Phantom: Tap the globe icon at the bottom

Coinbase Wallet: Tap the browser icon (compass)

Trust Wallet: Tap Browser at the bottom

Rainbow: Tap Discover → paste URL in search

Regular mobile browsers (Safari, Chrome) cannot directly access your wallet. When you use your wallet's built-in browser:

• Your wallet is automatically detected
• No QR codes or extra steps needed
• Signing messages is seamless
• The connection is more reliable

Links expire after 15 minutes for security. To get a new one:

• Go back to the Discord verification channel
• Tap the "Connect Wallet" button again
• You'll receive a fresh link

Make sure to copy the entire link without any extra spaces.

Yes! We never see or store your private keys or seed phrase. The signing process uses industry-standard "Sign-In with Ethereum" (SIWE) which only proves you own the wallet address - it cannot access your funds or make transactions.

Try these steps:

• Make sure your wallet app/extension is installed and unlocked
• Disable any popup blockers for this site
• Try a different browser (Chrome usually works best)
• On mobile, make sure the wallet app is updated

If the signature request times out or fails:

• Click the "Retry Verification" button that appears
• Make sure you approve the signature in your wallet
• Check your internet connection
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet

If the Discord app doesn't open automatically:

• Make sure the Discord app is installed
• Use the "Open in Browser" fallback option
• Try opening Discord manually and then returning to the portal

Once connected, you'll see a "Delete" button in the success screen. Click it to completely unlink your wallet from your Discord account. You can then link a different wallet if needed.
